There are a few resources that can help you research your home's history, including Sanborn Maps, Water Tap Records, Block Books, etc.

Some of these resources, are online at sfgenealogy. For example, the 1900 Sanborn Maps, which I believe shows your house. We also have a good collection of links to outside online resources for historic maps, etc. at:

Finally, there are some individuals who do house research for a living. You might want to try a google search for them.
