A little more info from the OP- the house in question is actually 2059-2061 San Jose Ave, & Ive found info on the boys' correctional facility that used to sit at the City College location which indicated that homes were built in this area c. mid-1800s. Please post any replies here as Im having email problems- thanks! Still trying to determine if the house was built pre- or post-1884.
