Some time ago, I read somewhere that the San Francisco Seals briefly played at a ballpark on the top of Lone Mountain before moving down to Seals Stadium. The ballpark was a failure largely due to the many games that were canceled/postponed due to being fogged out.

Can anyone verify this history?
