This was listed in an article from the San Francisco Morning Call, 7 April 1894, page 7:

"NEW INCORPORATIONS.

"The California Notion and Toy Company has incorporated with a capital of $200,000, of which $3500 has been subscribed. Directors--Jacob Loewenthal, Benjamin Lehman, Nathan Delbanco, Joseph Naphtaly and Lionel B. Feigenbaum."

I checked the San Francisco City Directories and they were located on Market street from 1894 to 1972 (except for a short period after 1906 when they were on Polk street).
