2676 Pacific Avenue

Hello--

I have been researching the house located at 2676 Pacific Avenue. I know that Adolph Mack and his wife Clara Gerstle Mack built a house there in 1881. It is(or was) a Newsom. The 1976 City Planning Dept survey and "Here Today" say 1881 as well. However, I now have reason to believe that the house currently at 2676 is NOT the house which stood there in 1881, and that the current house was built in 1904 along with the corner house (also a Newsom) at 2698 Pacific.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks very much-
