I am looking at a 1901 S.F. city street map. It shows a Railroad Ave running from the Islas Creek south. My question is, would that Railroad Ave, be now known as 3rd Street.

I had no idea that there were numbered avenues south, during those days. I found by grandfathers address at 1316 6th avenue south, now known as Fairfax Avenue.
