Hello! I have fond memories of going to Manning's Cafeteria when I was a little girl growing up in San Francisco! When my mother would want to go downtown, we would get ready to ride the C streetcar line. Mother always wore her gloves, and she had me put my gloves on too. I was about 5 or 6 years old. Mother loved Manning's coffee! So, after our shopping trip, we would go there for lunch. I loved going there, too. I still remember getting our tray and walking along and of course the desserts and jello were eye level! I would always pick out rice pudding. It was delicious! I guess the year was 1943 or 1944. What fond memories I have of Manning's!
