: Spent 3 years trying to find ANY reference to the San Francisco Business Men's Garden Club, ca. 1940's. It's sort of "lost" history within San Francisco. I know it existed, just can't find any references.
The business address was 256 Market St. in SF. I have printed letterhead showing Club's Officers: Harry F. O'Donnell (President); Robert E. Saxe (VP); Clarence E. Hoff (Secty); and, George C. Hill (Treas.).
Board of Directors included the above officers plus: George H. Trask; Norvell Gillespie; Eric Walther; Oliver Kehrlein; W. W. Bliss; John Edwards; John Paul Edwards; and, Dr. W. Gordon Swett.
I only know of one Club "member", that is Harold Rice.
Anyone out there that has any knowledge of this "club"??
