There is a Charles B. Vanderbilt listed at 585 Castro in the 1907 directory. He is likely the person appearing in US 1900 at 543B Castro [ED 128, Sheet 4A]; he is reported as b. April 1870, CA, and has a wife Annie R., b. Feb. 1875, CA, married 3 years, no children. An announcement of the marriage of Charles B. Vanderbilt of San Rafael and Annie C. Helmet of Goodyears Bar appeared in the SF Call, 18 February 1896.
