My GG Uncle Chas. W. Dungan worked at the White House (dry goods), but was a singer. He contributed lots of time performing for charities. Eventually he sang for his supper, and worked for many troupes, one was with the Lillian Russell troupe, and Della Fox. I would love to find a picture of him, but where to look. I have many articles about him from all over the country. When movies started, he was in them also--imagine, a singer in a silent film.
Also a great new (to me) site is GenealogyBank.com. I have found lots of brick walls open up to me. Thanks for listening, Nancy Stalzer
