The Marin Journal
Thursday, December 5, 1895
The will of Joseph G. Eastland, deceased, has been filed. Although the petition for probate only recites that the value exceeds $10,000, it is know to be the largest estate that has come before the Marin county courts since that of Jas. M. Donahue, will probably reach the half-million mark. A large number of bequests are made to relatives, friends and family servants. All the balance is bequeathed to the widow, trusting to justice to provide for her children.
