Will of Mrs. Griffin to be Contested
The admission to probate of the will of Mrs. John Griffin has been protested. Mrs. Griffin died recently at Tomales, where she lived, and left a valuable estate. The grounds for protest are that she was insane and that undue influence was exercised before her death. Judge F. M. Angellotti in the Superior court upon application appointed Mrs. Kate O’Connor, executrix named in the will, and James L. Griffin, son of deceased who is opposing the probating [of] the will, as special administrators, with bond of $4000 each. Joe O’Donnell is attorney for Mrs. O’Connor and Reyes & Allen attorneys for the contestants.
