GLORIA B. SPRATLING
Gloria B. Spratling of Novato, an aide at Lynwood School in that city, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Spratling, 50, was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Novato 18 years ago.
She had worked at Lynwood for seven years.
She was the wife of Robert E. Spratling, an employee of Pacific Telephone & Telegraph.
Also surviving are a son, Richard R. Spratling of Fairfax; a daughter, Sheryl A. Spratling of Novato; and two sisters, Barbara Paulsen of Walnut Creek and Phylis Barrows of Pacifica.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato. Visitation will be held at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin Mortuary today from 7 to 9 p.m. The family has asked that memorial gifts go to the Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the daughter-in-law of Margery Spratling.
