J. VICTOR EARLL
A Mass of Christian Burial for J. Victor Earll, retired Chrysler Corp. executive, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Sebastian’s Church, Greenbrae.
Earll, 66, died Tuesday in a local hospital after an illness.
He retired 4 ½ years ago as Western Area manager of the general auditor’s office of the Chrysler Corp.
Earll, a violinist, had played with the College of Marin symphony and had served as concertmaster.
He had served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean war, achieving the rank of captain, and was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base.
Born in Missouri, he lived in Portland, Ore., before coming to Marin. He was a graduate of Reed College in Portland.
Earll had been a resident of Marin for 33 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mary N. Earll of Greenbrae; a daughter, Kathleen Earll Burke of Chicago; and a sister, Marjorie Crowell of Corvalis, Ore.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Lung Association of the Redwood Empire, 65 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, or Hanna Boys Center, Sonoma.
