OLGA YTURRIAGA

A Memorial Service for Olga Yturriaga, an active Petaluma volunteer, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Petaluma.

Mrs. Yturriaga died Tuesday at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was 66.

She had lived in Petaluma 4 ½ years and was currently president of the Petaluma Golden Agers Club. Mrs. Yturriaga also belonged to the Association of Retired Persons, Petaluma Seniors Involved, Petaluma Woman’s Club and the Sonoma County Council on Aging.

Mrs. Yturriaga was also a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and at Hillcrest Hospital. She was a member of the Hillcrest Hospital Auxiliary and the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William Yturriaga of Petaluma; a daughter, Nancy Adams of San Geronimo; two sisters, Anna Rassi of Indiana and Helen Cobb of Iowa; a brother, Joe Schich of Kansas; and two grandchildren.

Private burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefers contributions to the Heart Fund.
