Sudden Death of Mrs. Dr. DuBois

The many friends of the family in this city will be pained to learn of the sudden death of the late Mrs. Emily Blois DuBois, widow of the late Dr. Henry DuBois. The death occurred in New York March 5th, where Mrs. DuBois was spending the winter, and we understand it resulted from an operation, although heart trouble may have been one cause.

Mrs. DuBois was the mother of Helen, Ernest, Hannah and Emily DuBois. The remains are now being shipped to San Rafael for burial.

Dr. DuBois was for many years one of our most prominent and enterprising citizens and his family are still residents of this city and are among our most esteemed citizens.

The funeral of Mrs. Emily DuBois was held from the Episcopal Church in this city on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. G. M. Cutting officiating. Many friends of the family were on hand to pay their last respects to the departed. The honorary pallbearers were S. M. Augustine, J. Corti, F. J. Johnson, A. N. Boyen, F. M. Angelotti, E. B. Martinelli, R. Tell, and Dr. Jones.
