HORACE ‘JIGGS’ LEE
A funeral for Horace A. “Jiggs” Lee of Marin City will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Village Baptist Church, Marin City.
Lee, 46, died Monday in [a] San Francisco hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Texas and grew up in Omaha, Neb. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He moved to Marin City about 15 years ago. He worked as a laborer until he was disabled 10 years ago. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Marin City.
He is survived by five brothers, Stevie Lee, Ronald Cook and James Cook, all of Marin City, Willie Lee of Vallejo and Bill Lee of Bolinas; eight sisters, Claudia Evans, Jewel Barrow and Judy Williams, all of Marin City, Cathy Cook of San Francisco, Belvia Wilson of Vallejo, Charlene Anderson of Benicia and Barbara Thompson and Sandra Diane Cook, both of Houston.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel, Mill Valley.
