Death of Mrs. Lietz

Mrs. Augusta Lietz, wife of Adolph Lietz, of this city, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 9th, after an illness of several weeks. The death of t his good woman came as a great blow to her family and many friends. She was beloved by all who knew her and was a good Christian woman, a staunch friend and faithful church worker. The funeral was held on Friday from the Presbyterian Church and the remains were taken to San Francisco where they were cremated in Odd Fellow’s Cemetery. The deceased is survived by a husband, Adolph Lietz, a son, Adolph Lietz, Jr., who is at present studying in Germany and another son, Otto. She was a native of Germany, aged 45 years.
