ROSE SCHUMACKER
Rose Schumacher, mother of the Rev. Bernard Schumacher, a resident of Novato, died Tuesday in Shakopee, Minn., after a long illness. She was 93.
A native of Minnesota, she lived there most of her life.
She was a retired music teacher. She was married to the late Roman Schumacher, who died several years ago in Minnesota.
She was a member of several organizations in the Catholic Church in Shakopee.
In addition to her son, who is a retired Air Force colonel and now assistant priest at Saint Hilary’s Church in Tiburon, she is survived by another son, R. T. Schumacher of Minnesota; two daughters, Judy Kriese of Texas and Carol Aufferman of Ohio; and several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held for her in Minnesota where she will be buried.
