Mrs. Velma Manning Killed on Highway
The funeral of Velma Manning, 43, who was fatally injured in an auto accident near Alto, while walking across the highway near Brock’s, last Thursday night at 9:30, will be held Friday, December 27 under direction of the Keaton Mortuary. Services will be private.
Mrs. Manning leaves her husband, and a son, Armond McEwen, the latter living in Los Angeles. She was hit by a south bound car driven by Geo. Carriers, 25, of Tamalpais Ave., San Anselmo.
The Mannings have an auto court near Also (sic). Mrs. Manning died within three hours after being taken to Cottage Hospital here.
