JACK DeVINCENZI

Jack DeVincenzi of Lucas Valley, onetime professional baseball player in the old Pacific Coast League, died yesterday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 55.

In recent years, DeVincenzi had been a fireman in San Francisco, but he retired on disability status three years ago. For six years he resided at 576 Cedarberry Lane, Lucas Valley, then moved to Santa Rosa a few months ago. He was a native of San Jose.

He is survived by his wife, Viola, and a son, Stephen M. DeVincenzi.

The funeral will be held in Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, at 11 a.m. Friday, followed by cremation.
