FRED J. DOP
A private funeral has been held for Fred J. Dop of San Rafael. Dop. 87, died Monday at a local hospital.
He was born in San Francisco. He worked in the shipyards during World War II. He moved to Marin 20 years ago. He worked for the Albert Building and retired when he was 79.
He is survived by his wife, Alma; his daughter, Thelma Rasmussen, and three grandchildren.
He was buried in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
