Carl Lezzeni Funeral Set

Funeral services for Carl C. Lezzeni, who helped build the San Anselmo American Legion Log Cabin, will be held Friday. Lezzini (sic), a native of Fairfax, died suddenly yesterday in the yard of his home at 112 San Francisco boulevard, San Anselmo.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon at the Harry M. Williams mortuary, San Rafael. Services will be conducted by the San Anselmo Post No. 179, American Legion. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.

He had been a resident of San Anselmo 32 years where he was a retired contractor. He was discovered lying dead in his backyard by his step-daughter and neighbor Phyllis Glover. Coroner’s office said he died of natural causes but that he had been in ill health for some time. He was 59.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Sarah C. Lezzeni.

In addition to Mrs. Glover (sic), he leaves another stepdaughter, Mrs. Elsie Gerhart of Cumberland, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Treanor, San Francisco; and five brothers, Andrew, Louis and John Sr. Lezzeni of Fairfax; Charles Lezzeni, San Anselmo, and Joseph Lezzeni of Napa County.
