ARTHUR HAZEN

Arthur Hazen, 70, of Sausalito died Wednesday morning at Marin General Hospital, where his wife had taken him after she found him unconscious in the bathroom, according to the Marin County coroner.

Cause of death is undetermined, pending an autopsy.

Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society in San Francisco.

JACK A. HAZEN

At his request, no funeral will be held for Jack Applegate Hazen of Sausalito.

Hazen died Wednesday in a local hospital following a long illness. He was 70.

Hazen, a 20-year resident of Marin, will be buried at sea.

He is survived by his wife Polly; one son, Kenneth Hazen of San Jose; his brother, Charles Hazen of Calaveras County and four grandchildren.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Marin County Humane Society.
