George Towle Goes To Last Rest
Attorney George W. Towle was laid to rest last Saturday following impressive services held at his late residence on Mission avenue. The sermon was preached by Rev. Ernest Bradley.
The honorary pall bearers were Chief Justice Frank M. Angellotti, Frank Zook, Harrison Dibblee, R. P. Henshall, George M. Dodge and Wm. Lichtenberg.
The services were attended by scores of sorrowing friends of the deceased who had known and admired him during his long life of service as a public official and as an attorney. Many years ago he filled the offices of District Attorney of Marin county and City Attorney of San Rafael. He is survived by his daughter, Miss Kate Caroline Towle.
