THOMAS N. MORAN

Thomas N. Moran of San Rafael, a longtime employee of Fuller O’Brien Corp. in San Francisco, died Friday at a San Francisco hospital after an illness.

Moran was a native of San Francisco, who had been a resident of Marin since 1961.

He had worked for the paint company for about 40 years.

During World War II he served with the 101st Airborne Division.

Surviving are his wife, Madge M. Moran of San Rafael; two sons, George Moran of Los Angeles and Herbert Moran of San Rafael; a daughter, Laise Jacobson of Los Angeles; a brother, James Moran; two sisters, Leonore Lindenmeyer and Rita Figueroa; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael’s Church, San Rafael. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Raphael’s. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Oncology Unit Fund.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the son of the late James and Ruby Moran. He was the father-in-law of Bill Jacobson and Brigitte Moran, uncle of Vincent Lindsay, and grandfather of Monique and Lisa Moran and Amanda Jacobson.
