Death Ends Suffering Of John J. Maguire
Death relieved the suffering last Saturday of John J. Maguire, brother of Mrs. Frank H. Vanderbilt, after an illness of many months. He passed away at his sister’s home, where he had been during his sickness. Cancer of the stomach was the cause of death.
The deceased was 63 years of age and had lived in San Rafael for nearly forty years. He was a native of New York.
The funeral was held Monday and burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. He is survived by a brother, Matthew Maguire, of this place.
