RUTH S. RILEY
A private funeral service has been held for Ruth S. Riley of Sausalito, a resident of Marin since 1942.
Mrs. Riley died Wednesday in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in San Francisco. Her family owns Riley’s, a clothing store in Mill Valley.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Riley of the home; two sons, William E. and Thomas M. Riley, both of Sausalito; a daughter, Mary Riley Plomteaux of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Jeanne S. Hansen of Sacramento; and five grandchildren.
Entombment will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Hanna Boys’ Center in Sonoma, St. Anthony’s Dining Room in San Francisco or the Salvation Army.
