EARL HILTON
Earl Hilton, a Greenbrae resident and veteran of the Nary, Army and Air Force, died at his home Tuesday. He was 89.
A native of Wisconsin, Hilton was a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He served as an inspector of engineering in the Navy during World War I.
Following the war, he served in the Army, also as an inspector. When World War II began, Hilton continued his engineering inspector, this time in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his daughter, Elizabeth Hilton Bush of Honolulu and his son, Duncan Earl Hilton of Los Angeles.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael.
