ETHEL A. SKINNER

A private funeral for Ethel A. Skinner, former San Rafael and Petaluma resident, was held today in Petaluma.

Mrs. Skinner died Thursday at a Sebastopol convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 76.

A native of Bolinas, Mrs. Skinner lived many years in both San Rafael and Petaluma. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Skinner was a member of the women’s auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Petaluma and the Petaluma Senior Citizens Club.

Her husband, Frank Skinner, died in 1966.

She is survived by five sons, Raphael and Peter Skinner of Petaluma, Frank Skinner of Rohnert Park, Frederick Skinner of San Francisco and Robert Johnson of Palm Bay, Fla.; three daughters, Ethel Heiden of Novato, Betty Skinner and Loretta Brower, both of Sebastopol; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Private burial was at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. The family prefers contributions be made to a favorite charity.
