RUTH MELBERN
Ruth Melbern, a 28-year resident of Marin County, died Monday in San Rafael after a brief illness. She was 70.
Mrs. Melbern and her late husband, William G. Melbern, operated the Marin Airporter Service, and before that she helped him in the taxi and limousine business in Marin. He died last November.
She was born in Stambaugh, Mich.
She is survived by a daughter, Grace Hughes of Mill Valley, and a son, Robert Melbern of San Rafael.
The funeral will be private. The family prefers memorial contributions to any favorite charity.
