MARY ANNE MALONEY
Mary Anne Maloney, a former Tomales resident, died Monday at her San Francisco home after a lengthy illness. She was 52.
Miss Maloney was born in Santa Rosa and reared in Tomales. She attended Ursuline High School in Santa Rosa and graduated from Tomales High School.
She also attended Holy Names College in Oakland. Miss Maloney worked 30 years for Pacific Telephone in the accounting department as a teller. She retired in April of 1982.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church of San Francisco and the Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by two brothers, the Rev. Robert L. Maloney, of University of San Francisco and Michael D. Maloney of Petaluma; and a sister, Sister Eleanore C. Maloney of Hayward.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Assumption in Tomales.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 tonight at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma. Burial will be at Tomales Catholic Cemetery.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the Sisters of the Holy Names In Memorium Fund, the Jesuit Seminary Association, the American Cancer Society or the Miller-Bunting program.
