Death of Well Known San Rafael Resident

After an illness of more than five y ears, during which he suffered patiently from an affliction for which he knew there was no relief, William Aickley, a resident of San Rafael since 1900, died at his home on C street Tuesday night.

For five years after he took up his residence here, Mr. Aickley conducted a bus line, and through this connection was well known to many people. His illness forced his retirement from active work, and of late years he has been engaged in the poultry business, of which he made a success. He was 47 years old, and the husband of Mrs. Louise Aickley. He was the brother of Charles and the late John Aickley.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 o’clock in the morning at Sawyer’s funeral parlors. The Rev. Andwin of the Methodist church, will officiate. The remains are to be cremated at Mt. Olivet cemetery, San Mateo county.
