Death of Harry Grant
Harry Delane Grant, formerly a well-known resident of San Rafael, an engineer on the Northwestern Pacific railroad, died at his home near Healdsburg on Wednesday evening of last week. His death was due to pneumonia, although he had been in poor health for some time. He died in the old family home where he was born October 3, 1859.
Mr. Grant was a resident of Petaluma for a long time before moving to San Rafael. He was well and popularly known in both cities. He was a member of Marin Chapter Royal Arch Masons in t his city. He is survived by a widow, and two sons, Ralph D. and Ward H. He was a member of an old and highly esteemed family of Sonoma county.
The funeral took place on Friday evening at the family residence under auspices of the Masonic Lodge.
