MARY A. BETTENCOURT
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary A. Bettencourt of Petaluma will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma.
Mrs. Bettencourt died Monday at a Petaluma convalescent hospital at the age of 92.
She was a native of St. Jorge in the Azores. Mrs. Bettencourt was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma Holy Ghost Society and the Portuguese lodges S.P.R.S.I. and Novato I.D.E.S.I.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Bettencourt.
Survivors are three sons, Louis Bettencourt of Mountain View, Alec Bettencourt of Santa Rosa and Victor Bettencourt of Cotati; and a daughter, Dorothy Maddalena of Petaluma; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Parent-Sorensen mortuary in Petaluma. Friends may call at the mortuary after 10 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma.
