JOSEPH F. RATTO
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rita’s Chruch in Fairfax for Joseph F. Ratto, a resident of San Anselmo for about 45 years.
Mr. Ratto, 73, died unexpectedly Monday at his business in San Francisco.
For 40 years he had owned and operated the F. J. Burns Drayage Co., a trucking firm.
He was born in San Francisco and moved to San Anselmo about 1940.
Mr. Ratto was a member of the Club Italia of Marin and San Francisco Italian Athletic Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Frank Ratto of San Rafael and Joseph N. Ratto of Belmont; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit at Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Rita’s Church.
Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
