JUDITH P. COLLIGAN
Registered nurse
Judith Patricia Colligan of Novato died Nov. 24. She was 60.
Mrs. Colligan was born in Bayonne, N.J., and lived in Walnut Creek before moving to Novato.
She graduated from Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in New York City in 1959 and worked in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Mrs. Colligan moved to California in 1977 and worked at t he Kaiser hospital in Martinez in its psychiatric unit. She was later transferred to the Kaiser hospital in San Rafael, where she worked for the psychiatric clinic in 1991.
She retired in 1996.
Mrs. Colligan enjoyed travel and reading literature.
She volunteered at the Marin Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Colligan of Novato; children, Patricia M. Colligan of Benecia, Bill Colligan Jr. of Lakewood and James P. Colligan of Santa Monica; mother, Elivera Olivieri; sister, Linda Smith; brother, Thomas Olivieri; and grandchildren, Ariana and Renee Colligan.
A memorial service will be tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 1806 Novato Blvd.
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
