ALBERT MERRILL
Carpenter
Albert Merrill of Petaluma was a longtime Marin resident.
He died Nov. 24 at 89.
He was born, reared and educated in Nebraska. Mr. Merrill moved to California in 1941.
He was a carpenter for 50 years.
Mr. Merrill was a lifetime member of the Carpenters Local #35 in San Rafael and a former member of the Moose Lodge. He was active in the Cub Scouts.
He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
His wife, Violet Merrill, died earlier.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Larson of Petaluma; sons, Lawrence Merrill of Santa Rosa, Dennis Merrill of Petaluma and Jerry Merrill of Petaluma; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
No service will be held.
