MARY LONG
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary C. Long of Greenbrae, a resident of Marin more than 20 years, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Kentfield.
Mrs. Long, wife of retired Army Colonel W. E. Long, died Wednesday at her home of a heart attack. She was 68.
A native of Montana, she attended schools there and was a teacher for a time in Butte.
During World War II, she worked for the Navy in its purchasing department at Treasure Island.
Mrs. Long was a member of St. Sebastian’s Church and participated in the church sewing circle.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two brothers, James Prendergast of Montana and Robert Prendergast of Palo Alto, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Pantzer of Tustin, Orange County.
Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today at Russell and Gooch Mortuary in Mill Valley. Entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family requests memorial gifts to St. Anthony’s dining room, San Francisco.
