Illness Ends Life Of Mrs. Williams
Death claimed Mrs. Mary A. Williams last Sunday at the home on Pine street after a long period of patient suffering.
A resident of San Rafael for more than a quarter of a century, she had endeared herself to hundreds of friends by her acts of natural kindness.
Her illness for some time past had been recognized as an incurable one, and notwithstanding this her last days, despite her suffering, were passed in the cheerful spirit that had marked her life.
She was a devoted member of the Presbyterian church. A splendid tribute to the good woman was given by Dr. Lynn T. White in the funeral service, Tuesday, when a large gathering of friends attended the last rites.
Mrs. Williams leaves a sorrowing husband, William Williams, and three children, Nathaniel and Maude Williams, and Mrs. Flora Williams, now in Ireland.
She was born in Ireland 57 years ago, and came to Marin county in early womanhood.
