ETHEL MAE MURPHY
A memorial Mass for Ethel Mae Murphy, a former cook at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mission San Rafael Arcangel in San Rafael.
Mrs. Murphy, who was 71, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1987, at Novato Convalescent Hospital following a long illness.
She was a native of Idaho.
Her husband, Vincent P. Murphy, died previously.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by a daughter, Joanne Landen of Santa Rosa; a son, Michael Murphy of Dublin; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be private.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Mission San Rafael Arcangel.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be sent to a favorite charity.
