ARTHUR E. THOMFFSON
Former San Rafael resident Arthur E. Thomffson died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1987, in a Carson City convalescent home. He was 71.
A native of Township, Mich., Mr. Thomffson had lived in Carson City since 1971, when he moved there from Reno, Nev. He lived in San Rafael from 1954 to 1962.
Mr. Thomffson was an automotives teacher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Carson City Elks club, No. 2177.
He is survived by two sons, Keith Thomffson of Garberville and Craig Thomffson of Petaluma; a daughter, Patty Mennigar of Auburn, and six grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is handling arrangements.
