MARIA F. SOLDAVINI
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael for Maria F. Soldavini of San Rafael, longtime parish secretary.
Mrs. Soldavini, 73, died Wednesday at Marin General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was a native of Italy and had lived in Marin for 51 years.
Mrs. Soldavini worked as the secretary for St. Raphael’s Parish for 29 years, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Marin Foundation Friends of Arequipa.
Her survivors include her husband, Remo Soldavini of San Rafael; a daughter, Joyce Thomas of Sonoma; a sister, Diana Williams of Hercules; and two grandchildren.
The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Raphael’s Church.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday and until 6 p.m. Friday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial gifts to a favorite charity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Scott DeLaMontanya of San Rafael and Michelle Shalagin of Petaluma.
