Boy Drowned
Frederick Knoche, a 13-year-old orphan boy of St. Vincent’s was drowned Tuesday while swimming with about 60 of the other boys, in a small pond near the school. His death was not noticed until the other boys were out and dressed, when one boy’s clothes were left on the bank. The body was found a few minutes later.
