Joseph Brooks Dies Sunday
Joseph Brooks, a well known resident of Kentfield and for many years a member of the school board there, died Sunday afternoon after a long illness. He leaves besides his wife, two children, a daughter, Margaret, recently married to John Parks and a son Joseph, 12 years old.
Mr. Brooks had been for several years with the S. H. Crocker Company of San Francisco and was a most estimable citizen and highly respected among his neighbors. The schools closed the afternoon of the funeral.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon and burial made in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. Christian Science services were given at the grave.
