MARIA CAMPANELLI
The Mass of Christian Burial for Marin Campanelli of Mountain View, mother of George Campanelli of Novato, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Villa Siena Chapel in Mountain View.
Mrs. Campanelli died Thursday at Mountain View Convalescent Hospital at the age of 88. Mrs. Campanelli was born in Italy and came to America in 1916. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Campanelli.
In addition to her son, she is survived by a daughter, Joyce Barteletti of Mountain View; a sister, Jennie Sbragia of Burlingame; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 1 to 5 p.m. today and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Cusimano Family/Taylor-Hays Colonial Mortuary in Mountain View. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the mortuary chapel. Entombment will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
The family prefers contributions to American Cancer Society, Muscular Distrophy, or Villa Siena.

A Death Notice in the Nov. 15th paper adds that she was the grandmother of Rob Barteletti, Nancy Dufresne, Laura Ryan, Claudia Pensabene and Carol J. Campanelli, and mother-in-law of George Barteletti and Carol R. Campanelli. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
