JAMES CASPANI
Mass of Resurrection for James (Jim) Caspani of San Rafael, long-time Marin resident, will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in Mission San Rafael.
Caspani, 75, died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness.
A native of Italy, he had lived in California and Marin County 45 years, residing at 325 D Street. Prior to his retirement, he was a cement mason for 30 years, last employed with Ghilotti Bros. Inc. Caspani was a member of the Sons of Italy.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; a daughter, Florence Scotto of San Anselmo; a brother, Stefano Caspani of Italy; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family prefers contributions to the American Cancer Society.
