RICHARD H. CAVAGNOLO
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Augustine Church in Pleasanton for Richard H. Cavagnolo, a long-time San Rafael resident.
Mr. Cavagnolo died Tuesday in an industrial accident in Vallejo.
He was an electrician for Western Union.
He was born in Merced and lived for a time in San Francisco. Fifteen years ago, he moved to San Rafael.
Mr. Cavagnolo was active in ham radio events and was past president of the Marin Amateur Radio Club.
Surviving are his wife, Lilly; a son, Richard Mario Cavagnolo of San Rafael; a daughter, Jacqueline S. Guizado-Cavagnolo of Miami, Fla.; his parents, Henry and Nettie (Claunch) Cavagnolo of Pleasanton; two brothers, Dr. Robert Cavagnolo of Georgia and Ernest Mendicki of Cupertino; and a sister, Lynne Lauritson of Salinas.
After the service, friends and relatives are invited to the home of Henry and Nettie Cavagnolo, 773 East Angela St., Pleasanton. For details, call 846-0305.
A memorial service also will be held Sunday at the Presbyterian Church of Santa Venetia at a time to be set later. Call 479-6373 for the time.
