GIUSEPPE COFFRINI
Giuseppe Coffrini, a longtime employee of the Bank of America, died yesterday after a lengthy illness. He was 79.
A native of Italy, Coffrini came to California in 1909. In 1912 he began his employment with the Bank of Italy as an elevator boy, and became janitorial contractor in 1918 when the bank became the Bank of America. He retired in 1969.
Coffrini lived at 9 Mountain View Avenue, San Anselmo. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, and numerous relatives.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anselm’s Church. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the father of Mrs. Elvira Schwarz of San Francisco, Mrs. Elaine Denning, Mrs. Geraldine Kreuzer, Joseph C. Coffrini Jr. and Mrs. Rosemary Codoni, all of San Anselmo. He was the brother of Mrs. Carri De Vencenzi, Mrs. Louisa Delfino and Peter Coffrini, all of San Francisco. He also was survived by four sisters in Italy, 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a native of Bugataro, Parma, Italy.
