Former Nicasio Man Passes in Petaluma

William Vincent, formerly of Nicasio, and a police officer on the Petaluma force, dropped dead Monday, while in a Petaluma store. He has returned from a 3-weeks vacation and died 3 hours before going on duty, after a fishing trip on the Klamath.

He was 68 years of age. While residing in Nicasio he was a brakeman on the N.W.P.R.R. line for some years. He has been a policeman for five years. Prior to this he was employed by a lumber firm at Petaluma.
